About Lauren

Lauren Rowe | Clinical Naturopath

If you've ever been told everything looks normal - but you know your body, and something isn't right - you're not imagining it. That feeling is exactly what brought me to this work.

I'm a Queenslander who spent a big part of my twenties living abroad, exploring, and sitting with people whose relationship with health, nature and the body looked very different from anything I'd grown up around. I didn't set out to collect perspectives - I was just curious, and curiosity kept moving me.

I am endlessly fascinated by how everything is connected. Humans in the context of nature. A person's symptoms in the context of their relationships, their environment, the way they nourish themselves, their stress, their history. The micro, always sitting inside the macro.

Living in different places and spending time with different people deepened that - it broadened how I see both people and the world they're living in.

What draws me most to this work is the question that healthcare so often skips: why? Why are these symptoms happening? What's sitting underneath them? How can we support, and gently correct them?

I am deeply invested in helping people make sense of their own health - cutting through the noise of conflicting wellness advice, and building a care plan that actually fits them as an individual.

I came to formal study while working full-time in a demanding corporate role,  and experienced first-hand what sustained pressure does to the body. Burnout isn't just exhaustion, it's your whole system quietly unravelling while you keep showing up and looking fine.

I enrolled in herbal medicine, quickly pivoted into Clinical Naturopathy, and realised that this wasn't work - it was exactly what I was meant to do. Over the years I've built a clinical approach that bridges traditional wisdom with clinically reasoned, researched informed practice. Always curiosity-led and always deeply considering the whole person in front of me, not just their symptoms.

My Approach

Clinical Naturopathy & Functional Medicine

Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, care is tailored to you, focused on identifying what may be contributing to how you feel, not just managing symptoms on the surface.

My approach isn't about offering another bandaid solution. I ask targeted questions, investigate thoroughly, and piece together a complete picture that validates your personal experience.

This means looking at the interconnected systems of the body:

  • Gut and microbiome health
  • Stress and nervous system function
  • Hormones and metabolic health
  • Nutrient status
  • Inflammation and immune function
  • Sleep, lifestyle and environmental factors

The goal isn't just to feel better short-term. It's to understand your body and health in a way that empowers you to support it for life.
